Paradise.

Da Nang.

What a dream place to be in. White sandy beaches with no one in sight are my serenity place. Being able to get away from the city and explore a new location is so refreshing. It gave me the feeling of being back in America with its cleanliness & friendliness.

Swimming in the rain, chasing sunrises, getting completely soaked riding the motorbike - it is so good for my soul to let go of control and live life in the moment and be so carefree.

A day trip to Hoi An from Da Nang gave me the opportunity to explore this ancient town and enjoy the best banh mi in Vietnam! Daydreaming about it as I am writing this.

Vietnam has cultured me with each new city I visit and how vastly different it is from one another. Especially each region of the country.

I have been able to appreciate the little things more, and it brings me so much joy. Being able to share my experience with another person while creating memories brings me so much happiness. This is what love feels like.

A New Chapter.

When you pack your entire life & put it in a box to start a new life, what a scary feeling that is. To leave the stability & comfort of my own place for the unknown is nothing I could have imagined it to be.

Fast forward a thirty hour flight total, the next chapter of my life begins. My hope is that I am able to immerse myself into the Vietnamese culture successfully. There is so much growth opportunity for me here to grow & expand my perspective on life. So far, it has been a success.

It is fascinating getting adjusted to a culture I am unfamiliar with yet was my family's upbringing. I am learning about why they are the way they are due to growing up in Vietnam. I have been so fortunate to be raised in America where freedom & everyday luxuries are available to us.

The hustle & bustle of Saigon is so amazing! There are people out and about at all hours of the day enjoying life. What a different lifestyle it is. When do people find time for rest?

Although it has only been several days, being in Vietnam feels natural. Let's hope I can keep up this mentality. Next up, Da Nang!
